One person was taken to the hospital after being stabbed in Encanto Wednesday night, according to the San Diego Police Department (SDPD).
It happened at approximately 7:25 p.m. on the 6600 block of Broadway, near Encanto Elementary School.
SDPD says the victim was stabbed in the neck and stomach.
The suspect is described to be in his 30s, approximately 5-feet 8-inches and wearing all black.
The extent of injuries is unknown.
No other information was immediately available.
