Pedestrian Suffers Life-Threatening Injuries After Collision

A pedestrian suffered life-threatening injuries in San Diego's Morena neighborhood after a car hit the woman, San Diego Police (SDPD) said. 

The collision happened at 8:56 p.m. Saturday when a 20-year-old woman was walking from the west curb line to the east on the midblock of 5900 Linda Vista Road, police said. 

A 25-year-old woman driving a Ford Focus, heading southbound on the same street, hit the pedestrian, police said. 

SDPD's Traffic Division is investigating. Anyone with information is asked to call police or Crime Stoppers at (888) 580-8477.
