A motorcyclist was killed when multiple cars collided with a big rig on Interstate 15 in Fallbrook, California Highway Patrol (CHP) officials confirmed.
The vehicles collided around 3:40 p.m. Monday on northbound I-15, just to the north of Interstate 76.
A Sig Alert has been issued for the area. The crash blocked the three right lanes of the road during rush hour, and cars are backed up to Gopher Canyon Road. Expect delays of up to one hour.
It was not yet clear which driver struck the motorcyclist, according to the CHP.
