A motorcycle accident on southbound Interstate 805 has caused delays during rush hour traffic, according to California Highway Patrol.
The accident happened around 4:45 p.m. on Tuesday afternoon just north of Murray Ridge Road.
Medics are on the scene and will transport the motorcyclist to the hospital. The rider's injuries are unknown.

The first two lanes are blocked by emergency vehicles and SigAlert says delays can be expected until 6 p.m.
