Monday's Mission: Dodging the Rain

We wish we had better news but it looks like rain this afternoon too.

Heavy rain welcomed the work week early Monday morning and caused more than 100 accidents on San Diego's roads for the morning commute.

The rain really started coming down around 3 a.m. and according to the National Weather Service, we should still see some showers after 11 a.m. with the possibility of thunderstorms this afternoon.  Winds could get as high as 25 mph.

This evening, there is a chance of showers before 11 p.m. according to the NWS.

Through Tuesday morning, there is a small craft advisory for hazardous seas just off the coast of San Diego.
