San Diego’s Gaslamp Quarter will resemble the streets of New Orleans Tuesday night to kick off Mardi Gras with live music, samba dancers, and beads -- lots of beads.
With the multiple celebrations going on in the heart of San Diego, we have all the information you need to go out and celebrate.
Gaslamp Mardi Gras 2019
The Gaslamp Mardi Gras celebration will finish Tuesday night with a big bang. There will be up to 20 nightclubs, bars, and restaurants celebrating from 6 p.m. to 2 a.m.
Clubs participating in this event include Omnia, Parq, Sevilla Nightclub, and Bassmnt.
Your ticket will include entrance to the opening party at American Junkie and the finale party at Tin Roof and Sevilla Nightclub. Unfortunately, this year there will be no parade or an outdoor street party.
Tickets are available on the event’s website for $29.
The House of Blues
The House of Blues will host a “Bring on The Beads Mardi Gras Party” that will take place inside the restaurant and bar -- and adjoining Voodoo Room. The event will feature circus and interactive entertainment with live music by Madame Leroux and Krewe.
The free event will start at 7 p.m. and is open to all ages.
The Smoking Gun
The Smoking Gun will have their $25 All-You-Can-Eat crawfish boil, beginning at 4 p.m. Tuesday at their Market St. location. Make sure to make a reservation before attending.
Loft 25 - Jolt'n Joe's Gaslamp
Loft 25 will host a Mardi Gras party live with blues jazz featuring Zydeco Music and an authentic Cajun and Creole buffet. It starts at 8:30 p.m.
Barleymash will host a "Beads, Brews and Bacardi" party starting at 10 p.m. DJ Chris Cutz and saxophonist Jason Whitmore will be providing live entertainment.

Ginger's will host their very own Fat Tuesday Karaoke starting at 8 p.m. The trendy cocktail lounge will feature classic drinks such as martinis and cosmos along with their bar bites.
