Man Learns Fate for Stealing Brand New Maserati

The 2015 Maserati Ghibli was stolen in April

A man who stole a brand new Maserati from a La Jolla dealership was sentenced Tuesday to four years in custody.

Marcus Lee Allen, 30, pleaded guilty to auto theft in June.

The 2015 Maserati Ghibli was stolen in April from Maserati of San Diego on Girard Avenue. The vehicle was found near downtown two weeks later.

Investigators arrested Allen on May 18.

He will spend three years in jail and the fourth year under mandatory supervision.
