A man was stabbed several times in the torso during an altercation with an unknown man, then drove himself to the hospital on Saturday.
At around 10:10 a.m., a 66-year old man was in a Rite Aid parking lot at 1700 Euclid Avenue when he got into an argument with an unknown man, according to a statement from the San Diego Police Department (SDPD).
During the argument, the victim was stabbed several times by the unknown man.
The suspect, dressed in jeans and a white shirt, walked away toward Federal and Euclid, according to a statement.
The victim drove himself toward Paradise Valley Hospital when he encountered two officers at Euclid and East Division Street. The officers escorted him to the hospital and began an investigation.
The victim was transferred to another hospital due to the severity of his injuries.
