A man was taken to the hospital Tuesday after he was stabbed in the East Village area of San Diego, police confirmed.
The incident was reported just after 8 p.m. on 12th and Imperial Avenue, near the MTS 12th & Imperial Transit Center.
According to San Diego Police, the victim was stabbed three times by a man wearing black basketball shorts and no shirt.
Police described the victim's injuries as non-life threatening.
No arrests were made.
No other information was immediately available.
