A 57-year-old man was found dead in a canyon Friday evening near Interstate 8.
A Border Patrol agent came upon the vehicle, which was rolled over in a steep ravine, and found the victim, Michael Duane Lawson, nearby.
Emergency personnel were called to the area, and he was pronounced dead at the scene without medical intervention.
Lawson lived in Mexicali, Mexico.
