A man fought with police on Wednesday morning after being involved in a hit-and-run accident on Interstate 5 near Balboa Avenue.
The suspect had to have his hands put behind him while police and paramedics calmed him down and attempted to get him inside an ambulance and into custody.
He was shirtless when talking to police, and traffic was backed up on I-5 following the incident.
