A man died Wednesday after being struck by a car while walking in a crosswalk, Chula Vista Police said.
The collision happened at 12:06 a.m. at the intersection of 4th Avenue and E Street.
The victim was taken to UCSD Trauma where he died from his injuries, according to police.
The driver stopped at the scene and was not injured in the collision, police said.
Investigators haven't determined who had the right of way at the time of the crash.
Alcohol does not appear to be a factor, police said.
No other information was immediately available.
