Man Shot in Leg Near Logan Heights Auto Shop: SDPD

A man was shot in the leg near an auto shop in Logan Heights late Friday night.

The 41-year-old was looking over a fence that surrounded the auto shop near Franklin Avenue when he heard two gun shots, according to the San Diego Police Department.

He then returned to his car.

Shortly after, the suspect shot at the man twice, striking him in his left calf, SDPD said.

The 41-year-old then drove away.

The suspect was last seen getting into a grey Dodge Ram and driving northbound on Evans Street toward Imperial Avenue, according to SDPD.

The man was taken to a nearby hospital, where he is expected to recover, SDPD said.

The shooting occurred around 11:15 p.m.

The San Diego Police Central Division Detectives are investigating.
