Officials are expected to hold a news conference to update the shooting near El Capitan High School.
Multiple shots were fired at the complex around 12:15 p.m. Tuesday on Ashwood Street and Mapleview Street just south of the Lakeside rodeo, according to Lt. Mike Munsey with the San Diego Sheriff's Department.
