Hickey's Mother Screams Obscenities in Court

The mother of Jordan Hickey, who was 21 when he died, had to be escorted out of the courtroom

The mother of a developmentally disabled man who was fatally shot in Lincoln Acres last year yelled profanities toward two suspects as the details of the crime were being discussed in court.

The mother of Jordan Hickey, who was 21 when he died, had to be escorted out of the courtroom.

Hickey was shot in the chest while riding his bicycle on April 29, 2011. His murder was considered a mystery until suspects were apprehended nearly a year later.

Juan Ignacio Gomez, 21, and Humberto Emanuel Galvez, 19, were arrested in Chula Vista and face a preliminary hearing today, which is when Jeannine Hickey had a strong reaction in the courtroom.

Jeannine Hickey remained outside the courtroom for 20 minutes and was then able to come back inside. The judge told her that although it is a difficult situation, she had to remain quiet.
