San Diego Unified School Board trustee John Lee Evans has announced he will not seek re-election.
Evans posted a letter to his website on Sunday stating, "I would like to graduate with the Class of 2020, so I am not going to seek re-election to the board."
In his letter, he asks that "narcissists, bomb throwers, bullies and persons without high ethical standards" not apply for the seat.
