Jeremy Lusk was a talented motocross racer from San Diego, whose life ended only a couple of decades after it started; now his wife hopes to keep his legacy alive.
In his memory, his widow Lauren Lusk created a new fashion line called "In Gods Hands." The logo is the letters I, G, and H, intertwined to form one symbol. It is the same symbol that was tattooed on Jeremy's body just weeks before he died, the company says.
The new line of clothing includes hats, t-shirts, tanks, and jewelry for both men and women. A portion of all proceeds will be donated to American Widow Foundation, for the widows of troops killed during war.
Next Wednesday, It will be two years since Lusk was killed in a motocross accident in San Jose, Costa Rica. Lusk was killed trying to perform a dangerous trick during a motocross event. In honor of Jeremy, a special race will be held at the Pala Raceway on the anniversary of his death, Feb 9 from 9:30 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.
Jeremy and Lauren were raised in San Diego. They were high school sweethearts who met when they were 15-years-old, Lusk said. Between the race and her clothing line, Lauren hopes that Jeremy's spirit will live on.
