iPads Stolen From San Diego Schools

Several windows were discovered broken at Patrick Henry High School around 9 p.m. Monday

San Diego Unified School District (SDUSD) officials confirmed Tuesday night that three adults and two juveniles had been arrested in connection with the thefts of iPads at two schools in San Carlos.

SDUSD spokesperson Linda Zintz told NBC 7 that officials could not confirm whether or not the suspects have a specific connection to the schools targeted in the crimes. The schools are located just three miles apart from one another.

Several windows were discovered broken at Patrick Henry High School around 9 p.m. Monday, officials said. Thirty-four iPads were stolen from the high school, officials said.

Nearby, Lewis Middle School also appeared to have been targeted by thieves but officials said nothing was stolen.

Just last week, Hoover High School and Crawford High School were also broken into with the suspects also nabbing iPads, police said.
