A California Highway Patrol officer picking up a sandwich ended up Tasering an unruly customer.
The apparently intoxicated 21-year-old man was refused service at Central Liquor on Tuesday night a little before 8 p.m.. The man was allegedly trying to buy a 40-ounce beer at the Orange Avenue business, according to the CHP.
After he was refused service, the man argued with the clerk and customers inside the deli, then began to yell at the officer, who, officials said, shot the man with the Taser after he approached him agressively despite being ordered to stop.
The man was arrested on suspicion of public drunkenness.
