Can't Help but Fall for Music

#FallForMusic sweepstakes bring a lucky winner free concerts for a year

Let’s be real, fall is the best season in San Diego. The zonies are gone, the weather’s brisk (aside from that fluke of a face-melting heat wave) and the holidays are right around the corner. Let’s not forget the music, though -- House of Blues San Diego sure hasn’t.

In celebration of the return of fall, San Diego’s House of Blues is launching a special social media contest where fans can win tickets to concerts for an entire year. The winner of the #FallForMusic sweepstakes will receive a pair of tickets to one show a month through 2017, in addition to a $200 credit for the House of Blues San Diego Gear Shop.

This is perhaps the biggest contest the local venue has launched since its inception 11 years ago.

“This sweepstakes is every music lover’s dream,” said Show Marketing Manager, Candace Valin. “As someone who lives and breathes live music, I want to create an opportunity for live-music fans to be part of the action all year long. With the extraordinary talent that comes through our doors, this is one fan’s shot to experience all of it.”

With a concert lineup that includes Steve Vai, Yellowcard, Sum 41, Young the Giant with Ra Ra Riot, Black Rebel Motorcycle Club with Death From Above 1979 and Pennywise with Unwritten Law, whoever wins is going to be one lucky ducky -- especially when they’re donning their new T-shirts and hoodies from the gear shop. Don’t forget about the Blues Brothers bobbleheads either.

It’s best to enter quickly though, because the contest ends on Wednesday, Nov. 30. For more details head here, and join the conversation on social media using the hashtag, #FallForMusic!
