Help Me Find My Killer

With no suspects at this time in the death of sailor Charles Schoeneman, the San Diego County Sheriff's Homicide Department is investigating all leads and asking for the public's help.

32-year-old Charles Schoeneman was found murdered in his Spring Valley apartment the morning of April 14, 2009, reported Sergeant James Bovet. It has been determined that he was killed in his apartment, located in the 3800 block of Conrad Drive.

Although Schoeneman's body had "obvious signs of trauma", according to reports, the Medical Examiner's Office and investigators have not listed a cause of death. He was reportedly found by his Navy supervisor, who was concerned because he had not reported to work for two days.

Schoeneman was in the Navy and worked at the 32nd Naval Station in San Diego. He was also known to drive a black 2007 Saturn sedan and frequent the areas of El Cajon, Rancho San Diego and central San Diego, according to a Sheriff's report.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Homicide Department at 858-974-2321 or Crime Stoppers at 888-580-8477.
