Hells Angels Did Some of It

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. -- Two Hells Angels bikers acquitted of trying to kill members of a rival club plan to plead guilty to other charges in South Dakota.

Chad Wilson of San Diego and John Midmore of Valparaiso, Ind., were found not guilty Nov. 20 of attempted murder for a 2006 gunfight at Custer State Park that injured five affiliates of the Outlaws Motorcycle Club.

Midmore was released on bail and prosecutors said he will plead guilty Wednesday in state court to cocaine possession. Wilson is a Canadian citizen who was charged in federal court with being a nonimmigrant alien in possession of a firearm. According to court documents, he plans to plead guilty to that count.

In exchange, prosecutors will drop a charge of conspiracy to commit first-degree murder against both men.
