An immediate flash flood warning has been filed from the National Weather Service for areas in southeastern San Diego county.
The warning, which includes but is not limited to Mount Laguna, is in effect through 3:30 p.m. Monday for a storm over the region, and it means flash flooding is imminent or occurring, according to the NWS.
Residents living along creeks and rivers are urged not to cross bodies of water by foot or vehicle, and to take immediate precautions to protect life and property, according to the report.
