Players Won't Autograph at Chargers FanFest

Chargers to Host Fans For Morning Practice

The Chargers are hosting their annual FanFest this Saturday, August 4th, at Qualcomm Stadium.

Bolts fans can watch practice most nights at the team's training facility, but the FanFest caters at bit more to the folks in the stands.

The team practices on the field from 10:15 to noon (the parking lot opens at 8:00 and gates open at 9:30). During practice, fans can take pictures with the Charger Girls or enjoy free face painting for kids while munching on $2 hot dogs.

But the current players will not be available for autographs this year.

Past players including Darren Bennett, John Carney, Darren Carrington, Terrell Fletcher, Mike Goff, Burt Grossman, Don Macek, Anthony Miller, Chuck Muncie, Billy Ray Smith and Doug Wilkerson will sign from 9:30 to 10:30 on the plaza concourse at Gates A and G.

Next Thursday the 9th, the Chargers play their first pre-season game against the Packers at 5:00 at Qualcomm Stadium.
