A 5-acre vegetation fire broke out north of the Naval Weapons Station in Fallbrook just before noon Wednesday.
Camp Pendleton’s fire department is at the scene.
The fire is holding at this time, according to a tweet from Camp Pendleton officials.
Smoke may be visible in the area.
CPFD said the fire is no threat to the surrounding area.
No other information was available at this time.
