Judges are working their way through dozens of films submitted online for the 2009 Fallbrook Film Festival.
While they’re working on the scheduled of screenings, organizer Brigitte Schlemmer is planning how to make this year’s event even more successful than last year’s inaugural event despite a dwindling economy.
Schlemmer, director of the Fallbrook School of the Arts, told the North County Times that tickets will be cheaper and the screenings and workshops will be easier to navigate.
"If you only want to see one film, it's five bucks. And you can spend all day watching films for $20,” Schlemmer told the paper. “The VIP passes were $150 last year; they're $100 this year."
All submissions for the festival are due by the first week in March.
Save the dates - April 23-26.
