A woman was released Saturday afternoon after being kidnapped by her ex-boyfriend just an hour before, according to San Diego police.
The suspect and the victim met in a park where the suspect forced the woman into his car following an argument.
The woman was kidnapped in Ocean View and dropped off around the intersection of Boundary and Hemlock. She reportedly suffered no injuries.
She was kidnapped around 3:11 p.m. and released just under an hour later around 4:09 p.m.
Police have recovered the suspect's car, but are still searching for him. He was wearing a black shirt and black pants at the time.
Police originally said the suspect had a knife, but after investigating concluded he was unarmed.
