Police are searching for the driver who struck a man in an El Cajon neighborhood Tuesday morning.
The crash happened in a neighborhood off N. Mollison Avenue, near El Cajon City Park and Cajon Valley Middle School, just before 5 a.m., the El Cajon Police Department (ECPD) said.
Medics took the hurt man to Sharp Memorial Hospital with what was believed to be life-threatening injuries. Hospital employees told police the man was expected to be okay but did not release details on his injuries.
Police were searching for the driver but had no suspect leads early Tuesday. No vehicle description was given.
