Urge Gastropub & Common House Bring Brewpub & Bowling Alley to San Marcos
Opening Monday in North City, a new development in San Marcos, comes Urge Gastropub and Common House, the third local installment of this popular brewpub – and the biggest. At 21,000-square-feet, the venue boasts a restaurant bar, a bowling alley themed after “The Big Lebowski,” a bocce ball court and more. Other Urge and Common House locations include Oceanside and Rancho Bernardo.

North Park's Waypoint Public Opens North County Restaurant
North Park’s craft beer-centric Waypoint Public has really gone north – launching a family-friendly location in North County’s Del Sur Town Center. The eatery is offering a gastropub menu for lunch, dinner and brunch, as well as new cocktails. The space includes a kids’ play area and patio, too.

Curadero Brings Mexican Food, Cocktails & Late-Night Eats Downtown
Now open inside Kimpton Hotel Palomar is a colorful new eatery that bills itself as a "soulful, coastal Mexican kitchen.” Curadero offers a regional Mexican menu featuring local ingredients and craft cocktails. Upstairs, a late-night bar and game room also features a walk-up window where patrons can order tacos. 

Coffee Shop & Barbecue Joint Combo Coming to the Gaslamp
Heading to Market Street this summer is Spill the Beans, a coffee house specializing in homemade gourmet bagels. The coffee shop will share space with a new neighborhood bar, Smoking Gun, which will serve a menu revolving around smoked meat and cocktails. 

Mission Hills Getting Globally-Inspired Eatery and Bar
The owner of Wet Stone Wine Bar in Bankers Hill will bring Fools and Kings to Mission Hills next month. The space, inspired by cities and cultures from around the world, will have a small plates menu showcasing a variety of diverse cuisines paired with craft beer, wine and sangria.
