Earn Money, Turn in Perps Caught on Camera

Perp #1

A customer walked up to the cashier at a Vons in Rancho Bernardo last week with two items in his hands. After giving the clerk money for the items, the man pulled out a semi-automatic handgun and demanded cash from the register.

San Diego County Crime Stoppers released video and images of the robbery Wednesday in the hopes of finding the suspect. Watch video

The Vons is located in the 11000 block of Bernardo Plaza Drive. The man entered the store around 8:45 p.m. on Wednesday February 4, 2009.

The suspect wore a black beanie, mirrored sunglasses a gray jacket with black sleeves (red bands on the sleeves), tan pants and brown shoes.

Perps #2 and #3

Before Christmas, someone broke into a car in Sorrento Hills. The thief took an iPod, a Coach purse and several credit cards. A day after the burglary, the stolen credit cards were used at a number of businesses around San Diego, according to San Diego police investigators.

A man and a woman were captured on a surveillance camera at the Adult Emporium on Convoy Street using the stolen credit cards on December 17, 2008, police said. Watch video

The man was wearing a long sleeve black jacket and plaid pants. The woman was wearing a hooded Chargers sweatshirt and jeans. They left in a 1980's white Toyota MR2 with a sunroof.
