U.S. Navy Chief Julio Salazar is currently a project manager at Al Asad Air Base in Iraq where he's working to rebuild structures in the region. During his "downtime" he's also working to boost the morale of his fellow service members by putting together softball teams at the base.
As you might have guessed, there aren't a lot of sporting goods stores in Iraq and they are in need of gear for all the people who want to play.
They have only a few softballs and five gloves total, most of which are falling apart.
