A plan is afoot to incorporate a moment of prayer into some official city school meetings.
The plan would involved a "moment of silence or prayer that rotates among religious groups" prior to school board meetings, reported the voiceofsandiego.org. School-board president Shelia Jackson is backing the proposal.
"It would help us start out in the right frame of mind," Jackson told the voiceofsandiego.org. "It was something our country was founded on."
