On Friday (Aug. 5), Hotel Garuda 'checks in' to Bang Bang ready to serve a late-night set of pulsating house music. Meanwhile at Quartyard, a "band off" will be going off as Kaaboo hosts a Discovery Tour where one of the bands will get to perform at the giant Del Mar festival next month -- go support!
On Saturday, Aug. 6, Omnia Las Vegas' DJ Fergie rounds up at their San Diego base. If you've yet to catch him, expect a well-rounded set from one of Vegas' most experienced resident artists. If you're craving some bass, SD Union hosts its 6th anniversary with Fred V & Grafix at Spin.
On Aug. 13, step deep into the Hole, deep into the groove, as Clique hosts a deep techno shindig with special guest David Scuba. Clique events blend a touch of unique art and sultry beats creating a very welcoming vibe for all.
A special Thursday night at Omnia rocks on Aug. 18 with one of the hottest names of the scene right now: JAUZ. From clubs to festivals, his sets explode with high-energy beats from electro to breaks! On Friday, Aug. 19, Crizzly brings the bass to Bassmnt for all 18-plus bass-heads ready to headbang (with bars open for all 21-plus attendees). Switching it up for some daytime vibes, the Soul Work crew invite you the land of Eden with house music beats kicking off at 3 p.m. on the rooftop at Spin on Saturday, Aug. 20. Don't forget to sport your shiniest of gold chains for this White and gold party.
Thursday (Aug. 25), Throttle makes his San Diego debut at one of the hottest clubs in Southern California -- Omnia San Diego -- as he makes his rounds with his funky remix hit of the moment “Hold Me Up”. Don’t miss this guy before he blows up! It's been two years since Infected Mushroom were in San Diego and they return Friday on Aug. 26 to Bassmnt with new surprises to their full live performance. Last on deck for the month, SoulOnBeat celebrates their 8-year anniversary with a doubleheader, featuring house legend Hector Morales and Johnny Fiasco Saturday, Aug. 27, at Spin.
A big congrats to all the crews celebrating anniversaries, as it's a big feat to continue to push the underground sounds of dance music -- and a thank you for continuing to do so.
