Deputies Arrest Car Burglary Series Suspects, Search for Victims

Officials are trying to find the owners of some stolen items

After the arrest of two suspects in a string of car burglaries, San Diego County Sheriff’s detectives are trying to return the stolen items to their rightful owners.

Investigators say the month-long burglary series targeted vehicles parked at golf courses across the county. Witnesses reported a red car in the area at the time of each incident.

Finally, Santee detectives identified Brianna Grossi, 20, and Joshua Miller, 33, as suspects in the cases. They were arrested driving a red Honda near Santos Road in San Diego on July 17.

Sheriff’s officials say stolen property from three burglaries was recovered in the Honda, and more items were discovered at the suspects’ homes when deputies served search warrants there.

Owners of most of the stolen property have been notified, but officials ask that all victims look at the items in the picture above. If they belong to you, call the Santee sheriff’s station at 619-956-4000.

Grossi and Miller are in jail on charges of conspiracy, committing a felony while out on bail and about 20 counts of vehicle burglary. Grossi is being held on a $200,000 bail, while Miller has a $185,000 bond.

Both are scheduled for arraignment on July 22.
