Man Burned in Mission Bay Mobile Home Fire

Two people were preparing to move out of the mobile home on De Anza Road when fire broke out

A man suffered burns and a second was treated for smoke inhalation after fire damaged a Mission Bay mobile home Wednesday, fire officials said.

Dozens of firefighters were called to the De Anza Cove Mobile Home Park just after midnight where a home was fully involved in flames.

Crews knocked down the fire within 15 minutes, according to San Diego Fire-Rescue spokesperson Lee Swanson.

Two people were preparing to move out of the mobile home on De Anza Road when fire broke out early Wednesday.

One of the roommates was burned on his arm. He was rushed to UCSD. The other roommate was treated for possible smoke inhalation at the scene.

San Diego Police say the Metro Arson Strike Team is investigating the cause of the fire.
