Three people are being taken away by ambulance, after an accident on State Road 125 near La Mesa has northbound traffic slowed.
The California Highway Patrol and Heartland Fire Department are responding to the crash, which involved at least five cars and is blocking three lanes.
Police have issued a sig alert, as of 6:46 p.m.
