This Wednesday will be a special day to hundreds of people in San Diego County.
Officials said 224 couples are either getting married Wednesday or getting their marriage license in the county. People think the special date -- 9/9/09 -- is lucky, but several brides at the County Administration Building said they already had luck on their side.
"He's very caring and very understanding, yeah, and supportive, very supportive," one woman said.
County officials said they saw a similar turnout on 8/8/08 and 7/7/07.
Wedding ceremonies are performed by appointment at county facilities in San Diego, El Cajon and San Marcos.
