Couple Found Dead in Home, Probably Murder-Suicide: Police

The mysterious case of a couple found dead inside their home is being investigated as a probable murder-suicide, according to San Diego Police. More evidence has been discovered that has led officals to believe that the husband, 67-year-old Richard Choe shot and killed his wife, 62-year-old Grace Choe, before turing the gun on himself, said San Diego Police Lt. Kevin Rooney.

Tuesday evening just before 8 p.m., friends of the couple, went to their Miramar Ranch North home (located in the 11200 block of Golden Birch Way) after they didn't show up at a church event earlier that evening.

With the help of a neighbor, they looked into the windows and saw the woman's body on the floor. Firefighters forced entry into the house and found two bodies inside. Both the man and the woman had traumatic injuries and were pronounced dead at the scene, according to Rooney.

A handgun was also found near the man's body. Detectives are currently processing the home for evidence and conducting interviews.
