Construction Equipment Breaks Free, Crashes Into Shed in Emerald Hills

A piece of construction equipment broke free and crashed into a shed in Emerald Hills, the San Diego Fire-Rescue Department (SDFD) confirmed.

The incident occurred at 11:22 p.m. on the 700 block of Winston Drive near Roswell Street.

Fire officials said a part of construction equipment came free from a home, rolled down a slope and fell about 50-feet to a shed below.

Neighbor Frederick White told NBC 7 he didn't hear the crash even though his window was open but the incident needs to be looked into.

"Somebody needs to check on that, see what that was," he said.

There were no injuries reported.
