With thousands of comic-lovers flocking to the San Diego Convention Center, not to mention the limited parking, there's a better option: take the trolley! They have two stations just steps away from the Convention Center, with service about every 15 minutes.
A day pass is only $5 (one-way is $2.50). MTS advises purchasing your ticket beforehand to avoid long lines. If you plan on attending more than one fun-filled day at Comic-Con, MTS has multi-day passes:
- 1 day - $5
- 2 days - $9
- 3 days - $12
- 4 days - $15
Comic-Con hours:
- Wednesday, July 22 - 6 to 9 p.m.
- Thursday, July 23 - Saturday, July 25 -- 9:30 a.m. to 7 p.m.
- Sunday, July 26 -- 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.
NOTE: The Trolley has Park & Ride lots, but many of them may fill up quickly. MTS advises parking at Qualcomm stadium and taking the Special Event 'Red Line' directly to the Convention Center.
