Rescuers had to come to the aid of a person who was trapped on the cliffs above San Diego's Blacks Beach on Tuesday.
The victim appeared to have accidentally hiked down into a crevice from which there was no route down to the beach.
Lifeguards came to the trapped person's aid at about 11:30 a.m. after setting up a secure line above . A rescuer then rappelled down to the trapped person, and the victim was buckled into the safety rope. The pair then made it safely down to the beach, with nobody appearing to have been injured.
