A 55-year-old truck driver was found dead behind the wheel Monday morning in Chula Vista, according to police.
Officers responded to a call at around 5 a.m. that a truck had veered off the road on 4th Avenue near G Street, according to Chula Vista police Lt. Phil Collum. Witnesses reported the truck hitting a Nissan and a fence.
The driver looked as though he died before crashing the truck, according to Collum.
The cause of death has yet to be determined.
