Chargers Games Will Be Heard on San Diego Radio

Broadcasts can be heard in their former home on two local stations

Chargers fans interested in listening to the team’s radio broadcasts in San Diego now know where they can hear the games.

On Friday the Bolts officially announced XTRA 1360 and 101.5 KGB will carry the games in the team’s old home. The team also revealed Shannon Farren will be joining Nick Hardwick and Matt β€œMoney” Smith on the broadcast team as the sideline reporter.

Farren is co-host of the Gary & Shannon show on KFI-AM in Los Angeles. She has spent the last 12 years at KFI, primarily as a news anchor and show host. KFI is the Chargers flagship radio station in L.A. so it makes sense to have an established member of their lineup join the football broadcasts.

In addition to the San Diego and L.A. stations, the Chargers announced KNWZ (Palm Springs), KNWH-FM (Yucca Valley), KRLV-AM (Las Vegas), KRAK-AM (Victorville/Hesperia), KATY-FM (San Bernardino) and KPLY-AM (Reno) will carry live game broadcasts. Spanish broadcasts can be heard on XHFG-FM (San Diego).
