A suspected drunk driver slammed into a Carmel Valley garage, tried to run, but didn't get very far, police confirmed Friday.
The driver lost control of his Camaro and crashed into a Carmel Valley home on Harvest Run Drive and Carmel Mountain Rd just after midnight.
The car got pretty mangled in front and the garage door was badly damaged.
The man fled the area after the accident, but police caught him a short time later.
He's now in the hospital and is accused of driving under the influence according to police.
