A driver turned onto the trolley tracks in downtown San Diego Wednesday, temporarily delaying trolley service.
San Diego Police were called to railroad crossing near Ash Street and found a car stuck on the tracks.
Officers jumped in to help with traffic control.
Some people on an approaching trolley were delayed but Metropolitan Transit Service officials said service should resume shortly.
No one was injured.
