Crews were working to flip a car that slammed into a pole and rolled over in Middletown early Monday.
The crash happened just before 5:30 a.m. at the intersection of Pacific Highway and W. Palm Street, near the Middletown transit station.
Firefighters were called to help get the driver out of the vehicle. It was not clear if the driver was hurt.
The San Diego Police Department and Harbor police responded to the scene.
