It's the call of the wild: Del Mar's annual crowning of Miss Cougar 2012.
Del Mar Racing is looking for submission to the pageant of sorts, which will honor the women for whom age is nothing but a number.
Ten women have entered the contest already, touting their elegance, maturity and an affinity for younger men.
"Being a Cougar is more than just a desire to date a younger man, it's a state of mind," said one of the entries. "I've finally come into my own and enjoy life to the fullest every day."
This year, all the submissions will be taken on Facebook.
The contest will end on July 27 when Miss Cougar 2012 is crowned.
