Firefighters were on the ground and a helicopter was overhead trying to put a stop to a small brush fire burning in Mission Valley.
The fire was reported between the trolley tracks and the IKEA on Fenton Parkway at around 5:30 pm. It jumped the tracks and started a second small fire, according to the San Diego Fire-Rescue Department.
SDFD said the fire was controlled at a half acre and were mopping it up by just after 6 p.m.
