San Diego Police found an 8-year-old boy missing from Mission Beach while his uncle went to use a restroom.
The young boy was last reported seen at the intersection of Mission Boulevard and Kennebeck Court around 7:57 p.m. when he uncle went into a restroom.
The uncle said the boy was waiting for him outside, according to a police statement.
San Diego Life Guards and police are searching the surrounding area and making overhead announcements over the public address system, according to reports.
The boy was found.
