A 63-year-old man was reported missing by his camping companions after he got separated from them Sunday, according to the San Diego Sheriff's Department.
The body of Richard Smith was found off of McCain Road on Monday morning.
Sheriff's said the death does not appear to be suspicious in nature.
A group of campers was at the Cottonwood Campground off of McCain Valley Road, in Boulevard when they reported the missing man just before 5 p.m.
Deputies searched for him Sunday, but were unable to find him.
